Visual Identity

Imagery

Photography

General student life and facility imagery should be playful, warm, candid, and rich with student life. We highlight boys’ learning by showing active engagement with concepts, peers, teachers, and mentors. There will always be exceptions, but a good rule of thumb is to avoid depicting students using phones and show laptops only when necessary. As much as possible, choose images in which students are wearing the uniform properly: shirts tucked in, elements crisp and clean, and top buttons done up. When able, choose to avoid logos or slogans other than our own. We also choose to show the full breadth of our community, cognizant that photos depict Georgians in all their diversity, interest, and engagement.

Graphic Elements

Some elements of the logo and crest can be used to signal our identity and connect material to our brand identity: the maple leaf, chevrons, harp, and the shield shape/outline.

Image Gallery

There may be students who have opted out of being presented in imagery, and you will be made aware as those cases arise. Otherwise, we have permission to use images of our students for school purposes, including yearbooks, newsletters, and print and digital documents; in videos created for curricular or extracurricular school activities; on our social media feeds and school websites. We choose to use images wisely and with care, even given the broad permissions granted, though you should feel free to use images of students within internal communications, as well as in presentations or documents that are outward-facing to parents and colleagues within independent schooling.

The image gallery linked below should be seen as a resource for all of those uses.
